Our story: building a world of belonging
Welcome to Lift Eachother Empowerment. Learn about our journey, our commitment to inclusivity, and how we're striving to create a supportive community for everyone, especially those with disabilities. Join us in building a more accessible and understanding world.

Our inspiration: being the change
Growing up with disabilities, we experienced firsthand the challenges of inadequate resources and support. This experience ignited our passion to be the change we wished to see. At Lift Eachother Empowerment, we advocate for what was missing in our lives, bringing meaningful change to the community and supporting as many people as possible. Everyone deserves wellness, and a lack of accessibility should never be a barrier to receiving it.

Beyond fitness: fostering true wellness and inclusion
While fitness is a part of what we do, our true focus extends much further into holistic wellness and genuine inclusion. We believe that wellness is for everyone, and our mission is to change the world, one community at a time. All our services are easily accessible, including our wellness app, AdaptivLyfe, which features extensive accessibility options for individuals regardless of disability. Our goal is to bring people together through love, support, understanding, and grace, creating a place where everyone belongs.

Our vision: a vibrant community hub
Imagine a community center that is colorful, open, and comfortable—a place people genuinely want to be. It's filled with laughter and good vibes, offering resources for everyone, and exuding an energy that reflects our unwavering commitment to helping. This is the future we are building in Gresham, OR, a welcoming space where everyone feels valued and supported.
Founded by those who understand: disability first
Our passion for disability advocacy stems directly from our own experiences with disabilities and the hardships we've endured. We are an organization founded by people with disabilities, dedicated to making the world easier for everyone—disabled or non-disabled, neurodivergent or neurotypical. While our community center is for everyone, our advocacy and initiatives are "disability first." Too often, solutions for the disabled are created without their input. Since day one, we've made it our mission to bring disabled voices to the table, ensuring they are part of the planning, implementing, and guidance. This isn't just a photo for a billboard; this is our everyday commitment, and we live what we believe.
